- Immunize yourself against hepatitis B virus
- Understand and use appropriate Routine Practices for Infection Control procedures and practices
- Use protective barriers such as eyewear and disposable gloves and clothing
- Wash your hands often
- Use disposable equipment such as needles, razors and emery boards
- Postpone service to those with broken skin and/or open wounds
- Disinfect multi-use tools and equipment.
